About

This photo was taken when I was young and had lots of hair. Now I look more like the moon with a scraggly beard.

Colin Perini was an Engineer in the Australian mining Industry for 12 years. After much practice, He become a quick portrait artist and traveled the world. Over 16 years, he drew over 75,000 portraits.
He then switched to become a professional artist, specializing in large seascapes. He has since, sold over 4000 paintings. You can view some of his work at colinperini.com.
He married Lina nearly 50 years ago, and she is almost used to it now. Together they have wandered their world like gypsies, always living from creativity.
He is allergic to social pretense and for this reason has kept away from the conventional art world and a 9-5 lifestyle.
He has not broken any records, received any awards or collected any trophies. Other than that, nothing has happened and he is quite boring really.
